Wojciech Przybylski: Middle East and Republicans should alert CEE and push for more efforts to build transatlantic links
27.10.2023How can the escalation in the Middle East and the crisis in the US Republican Party affect the situation in Europe, particularly in its central-eastern part? Wojciech Przybylski, the editor-in-chief of Visegrád Insight and head of the ResPublica foundation in Warsaw, has shared his opinion with Newssky
Middle East and Republicans should alert CEE and push for more efforts to build transatlantic links. This has been happening with the Czech minister for Foreign Affairs visiting Israel as the first after the Hamas attack and Poland choosing a change of power in order to seek a more coherent foreign policy. Europe needs to take similar steps and invest in transatlantic security before U.S. isolationism limits American protective arm. We need to build up our own defense and buy Americans to be able to support Ukraine and respond effectively in time to other crises.
