Tim Edin: the most Important Reform is to Establish Strong Western-style Property Rights

The Ukrainian civil society needs to concentrate on the reform process in both the governance and the Constitution, such as the establishment of, most importantly, strong Western-style property rights.

Economic reform and economic prosperity will follow from the establishment of these property rights because Ukraine needs foreign direct investment into its economy to stimulate industry, stimulate economic expansion, and increase the quality of life for every Ukrainian. The way to get rid of Russia in the long term is through the establishment of a very strong economic base and the out, and then the rising living standards of Ukrainians.
