According to him, the decision to place Oreshnyk in Belarus stirred up the whole world. "What's the fuss about? I tell him [Putin]: "What are we worried about? Tomorrow, the Americans and the Germans - they announced this - will put such a weapon into service in Europe - medium range. This is not Oreshnyk, but medium-range. We do this in return," assured the Belarusian dictator.

While Lukashenko threatens the "Americans with the Germans", Russia allegedly closed the sky over the Kapustyn Yar missile range in the Astrakhan Region on December 10-13, from where the Oreshnyk missile had earlier struck the Dnieper. A day before its launch, the USA closed its embassy in Kyiv due to "specific information about a potential significant air attack." The embassies of Spain, Italy and Greece were closed after the US warning, while the French and German embassies remained open, but urged their citizens to be cautious. On December 9, the US embassy in Kyiv reported an increase in threats from Russian missiles and drones, called on Americans to "obey all government curfews and quickly follow instructions and seek refuge during an air alert."

Despite the fact that Putin gave instructions to start the production of Oreshnik missiles just a few days ago at a meeting with the developers of the system, at the summit of the CSTO countries in Astana on Thursday, November 28, he stated that the Russian arsenal already has several ready-to-use missiles rockets "Serial production of Oreshnyk has already started," the "nobody" assured. "In the case of massive and group use of the Oreshnyk, the power of the strike will be comparable to the use of nuclear weapons." According to Vladimir Putin, today Russia produces "10 times more missiles than NATO countries."
