Watermelons will be sown in the Kherson region this year

Farmers of the Kherson region are gathering to sow 2 ha watermelons This was announced on TV by the speaker of Kherson OVA Alexander Tolokonnikov, reports agroportal.ua with reference to "RBC-Ukraine".

According to him, about 40 agricultural enterprises will be engaged in the sowing campaign.

Tolokonnikov also said that farmers are gathering to sow pumpkins. Therefore, Ukrainians will be able to expect Kherson watermelons.

"There is not much good news, but there will be Kherson watermelons, pumpkins will be sown on 2 hectares, this is very symbolic for us," the speaker noted.
