Ukraine introduced sanctions against Shoigu's daughter and hockey player Kozhevnikov
18.04.2023President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed two decrees on the introduction of sanctions against a number of Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian citizens. The documents are published on the website of the head of state, he writes currenttime.tv.

The first decree introduces restrictions against 87 people, including sports figures and Olympic champions. The list includes figure skating choreographer Ilya Averbukh, gymnast Svetlana Khorkina, former goalkeeper of the Russian national football team Igor Akinfeev, coach Sergey Ovchinnikov, hockey player Alexander Kozhevnikov and others.
In addition, Ksenia Shoigu, daughter of the Russian Defense Minister and president of the Russian Triathlon Federation, was sanctioned.
The second package of sanctions was directed against 351 individuals, as well as 254 legal entities. Companies providing services in the field of information and digital technologies, manufacturers of integrated circuits fell under the restrictions. In particular, Russian companies VK and Yandex were included in the list.
Restrictions include the blocking of assets, the termination of trading operations and other measures.
