Ukraine is capable of producing 4 million drones annually, the production of 1,5 million drones has already been contracted, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his speech at the second International Forum of Defense Industries, writes liga.net.

"The total number of drones that we are now able to produce annually in Ukraine is 4 million, and more than 1,5 million have already been contracted," he said.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during a government meeting that Ukraine will produce 2024 million drones in 1,5.

In February 2024, the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced that in 2024, Ukraine would achieve the goal of producing 1 million drones per year. He also stated that 90% of the drones that the country currently uses on the battlefield are of its own production.
