Ukraine returned six more children from the occupation
04.06.2024 0 By Writer.NSUkraine returned six more children from the territories temporarily occupied by the Russians, three of them half-orphans. About this reported the RBC-Ukraine with a link to the Telegram of Mykola Kuleba, head of the Save Ukraine charity organization.

"This weekend, our team helped three Ukrainian families leave the temporarily occupied territories. The father of a large family died in front of his three children from a Russian projectile that hit the family's yard. The children still can't believe that dad is gone," Kuleba wrote.
According to him, children from another family witnessed Russian soldiers beating and torturing their father several times. The younger son of the family even stopped talking after what he saw.
But everything did not end with the beatings: the Russians regularly threatened the children directly. They told them that their father would be killed, their mother would be forced to serve the Russian military, and they would be taken to a boarding school. And it was already impossible to live in such conditions.
"Fortunately, these families found our contacts and asked for help. They are safe now. Both adults and children are incredibly happy that they are finally under the Ukrainian flag," added the head of Save Ukraine.
Deportation and return of Ukrainian children
Note that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have been deporting Ukrainian children en masse. They are exported to Belarus, the Russian Federation and the occupied Crimea.
We will also remind you that it was the deportation of Ukrainian children that caused the ICC to issue a warrant for the arrest of dictator Vladimir Putin and the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Russian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova.
At the same time, Ukraine manages to return children home.
In particular, in April, Qatar helped Ukraine bring home four groups of children.
Recently, Ukraine returned another 13 children with their families from the territories temporarily occupied by Russia.
And on June 2, five orphans, who were illegally deported from Ukraine by the Russians back in 2022, returned to the Mykolaiv region.
