Ukraine received all the promised Challenger 2 tanks from Britain

Great Britain has completed the transfer of all promised Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine as part of military aid. About this reported the RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of British Defense Minister Ben Wallace in Parliament.

“I know that all our tanks have arrived in the country… they are all in the country. They were trained both here (in Britain. — Ed.) and later in Ukraine, and I know that Ukrainian troops use them," said the head of the British Ministry of Defense.

It will be recalled that initially Britain promised to transfer 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine, but after the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the country, London decided to supply twice as many units of such equipment.

We also wrote that at the end of April it became known about the transfer of shells with depleted uranium for Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine from Britain.

For the first time, confirmation of the delivery of Challenger 2 to Ukraine was made public by Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov.
