Ukraine launches production of its own equipment for humanitarian demining

In Ukraine, it is planned to start own production of equipment for humanitarian demining of territories. This was announced by the Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn, transmits RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram ego.

According to him, the Ministry of Strategy and Industry will be responsible for the launch of local production of equipment and equipment for humanitarian demining as part of the updated state policy in this area.

"Unfortunately, the problem of humanitarian demining will remain relevant for our country for years. But this is also an opportunity for our manufacturers to master the production of such equipment and equipment. Now — for our country, and once — for other countries as well," the minister noted.

In his opinion, there are enough qualified manufacturers in Ukraine who will be able to master and produce such equipment.

As a reminder, earlier the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that in order to speed up the demining of the territory of Ukraine, it is necessary to attract domestic producers as much as possible.

It was also reported that Cyprus will provide Ukraine with technical training in demining as part of humanitarian aid.
