Ukraine is in the top 20 world wheat producers

The total area of ​​wheat crops worldwide in 2022 exceeded 220 million hectares, writes agroportal.ua.

About 70% of wheat produced worldwide is used for food, while 20% is for livestock, and 2-3% is used in the industrial sector, writes finance.yahoo.

According to experts, the size of the wheat market will grow from $127,7 billion last year to $169,1 billion in 2027.

USA — 44,9 million tons;
Canada — 35,00 million tons;
Australia — 33,0 million tons;
Pakistan — 26,4 million tons;
Ukraine — 20,5 million tons;
Argentina — 17,5 million tons;
Turkey — 17,25 million tons;
Great Britain — 14,6 million tons;
Iran — 13,2 million tons;
Kazakhstan — 13 million tons;
Egypt — 9,8 million tons;
Brazil — 9,2 million tons;
Uzbekistan — 6,6 million tons;
Ethiopia — 5,7 million tons;
Afghanistan — 4,5 million tons;
Algeria — 3,7 million tons.
