Turkey plans to hold the third summit on achieving peace in Ukraine, similar to the one already held in Denmark and Saudi Arabia. The meeting is preliminarily scheduled at the level of national security advisers to the leaders of the countries at the end of October in Istanbul. This was reported on Thursday, October 5 by Bloomberg with reference to sources.

On the agenda will be Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi's "peace formula" and his intention to hold a global summit of leaders on these proposals later this year.

According to the agency, "a limited number of officials" will take part in the meeting. Allies hope that a representative of China, in particular, will come to it, but there are no precise agreements yet.

Western officials will try to convince the representatives of India and Brazil, who mostly take a "neutral position" regarding Russia's war against Ukraine, to oppose the Russian policy. Allies see the summit as an opportunity for Ukraine to explain its position directly to these countries, according to the publication.

Traditionally, representatives of Russia were not invited.

We will remind you that the first such "peaceful" meeting took place in Copenhagen on June 25. At that time, consultations on the key principles of peace in Ukraine were held between the national security advisers of the EU, the USA, Turkey, India, Brazil, South Africa and a number of other countries.

The second summit on the "peace formula" was held in Jeddah on August 5-6. It was attended by representatives of more than 40 countries, including a special representative of China, which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called a "super breakthrough".
