The USA introduced new sanctions against Russian companies and officials

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions against a number of Russian individuals and legal entities, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnykhanov, as well as enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex. This is stated in the press service of the department, writes currenttime.tv.

In total, the US Ministry of Finance entered 17 individuals and more than two dozen companies into the sanctions register. In addition to Manturov and Minnikhanov, the sanctions list includes the wife of the head of Tatarstan, as well as the founder of the Yota company Sergey Adonyev and his sons.

In addition, the United States announced sanctions against the head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation for ensuring the activities of the State Council, the employee of the presidential administration Alexander Kharichev and his deputy Boris Rapoport, the director of the FSIN Arkady Gostev, the head of the Kalashnikov concern Alan Lushnikov, the head of the Almaz-Antey concern Yan Novikov and others.

Also, companies of the Russian military-industrial complex were included in the US sanctions list. Among them is the cargo airline "Aviakon Cytotrans" and four Il-76TD aircraft associated with it, the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA), the National Aviation Service Company (NASK) of the state corporation "Rostec", Scientific and Production Enterprise "Prima", Scientific and Production "Gamma" enterprise, "TKH-Invest" LLC, as well as "Almaz-Antey" aerospace defense concern.

The Ministry of Finance also extended sanctions to such Russian enterprises as Shipyard, Zvezda Plant, Dalzavod Ship Repair Center, Lazurit KB, Gamma Enterprise, other ship repair and shipbuilding plants, as well as their foreign partners.

In turn, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the US State Department is imposing visa restrictions on 531 Russian servicemen. The reason for the introduction of restrictions, according to him, is "actions [of military personnel of the Russian Federation] that threaten or violate the sovereignty, territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine."
