The US will increase its military presence in Poland

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed that he discussed with US Vice President Kamala Harris, among other things, the presence of American troops in Poland. This is reported by "European Truth", RMF24 reports pravda.com.ua.

The vice president of the USA spoke about strengthening the permanent presence of American troops in Poland, he emphasized.

"We remember that just a few years ago this discussion about permanent presence was hot in Poland. Therefore, I am very pleased that the vice president spoke not only about this additional presence of several thousand soldiers, but also about the construction of bases and warehouses for the purpose of accumulating equipment and American weapons," explained the head of the Polish government.

Technology, according to the Prime Minister, is the most important thing today. "This shows the Russian aggression that we are facing, that our eastern neighbors are facing. And there will be more and more of this equipment in Poland," he said. As he noted, during the meeting he also mentioned the anti-missile defense shield being built in Redzykovo in northern Poland. Morawiecki added that the United States is fully committed to strengthening its presence in Poland. Let us remind you that the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, warned European leaders against attempts to promote a policy of "strategic autonomy" from the USA in Europe and called for the development of Europe's strategic cooperation with Washington.
