Is Russia abandoning China?

Russia has offered all American companies to return to the energy sector, and plus it opens access to Arctic deposits — this is the main topic of today's negotiations. And this could be the same big deal, writes the observer "DS" Vadim Denisenko.

I quote from the Russian edition of The Moscow Times: "Russia believes that American oil companies can return to the country, and is also interested in joint projects with the United States in the Arctic, stated the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, before the start of negotiations in Saudi Arabia."

Translated into human language, this is a throw from China.

What do we have in the end?

1. We play the game from the USA, not having the strongest cards. This needs to be evaluated realistically.

2. Europe is already divided and will not be united. Pay attention (especially) to Duda's position regarding the fact that it is not worth fighting with Trump.

3. I will repeat what I have been writing for the past few weeks: Trump has issued an ultimatum to Europe. And the meeting in France showed: the Europeans will swallow it (they will agree to export technologies in exchange for protection).

4. We should go into negotiations with real demands, and not continue the mantra about NATO.

The statement of the Russians is a very bad move for us. We have now taken the position of the offended. And this is the worst thing in politics, because politicians are not offended.
