This will allow the start of regular payments within the framework of the Fund for Ukraine for 50 billion euros.
"Today's decision contains more detailed information about the mechanisms and schedule of its implementation, including the planned schedule of assistance and the schedule of its payments. The final qualitative and quantitative steps should be completed by the end of 2027," the message reads.
It is noted that financial support under the Ukraine Facility will be provided on the condition that Ukraine continues to support democratic mechanisms, the rule of law, support for the independence of the judiciary, strengthening public administration reform and the fight against corruption.
Today's decision will allow the European Commission to allocate up to €1,89 billion in pre-financing before the start of regular payments.
The Ukrainian government added that the plan for the Ukraine Facility includes 151 indicators in 69 directions of reforms, the implementation of which is planned for the period until 2027.
For the fulfillment of these indicators, Ukraine should receive 2024 billion euros in 16, 2025 billion euros in 12,5, 2026 billion euros in 7,2, 1,2 billion euros in 2027, and 1,3 billion euros in January 2028 for the performance of indicators in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Ukraine has already received 6 billion euros of financial support in March and April this year for the successful implementation of the five indicators of the first quarter. In the second quarter, it is necessary to fulfill nine indicators, which will allow receiving 4,1 billion euros in September 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reported.
