Onofriychuk won gold and three other World Cup medals

Taisiya Onofriychuk became the champion of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in hoop exercises. The 16-year-old Ukrainian also won three more medals at the competition, writes champion.com.ua.

Today, April 20, four individual finals took place in Baku (Azerbaijan), and Onofriychuk qualified for each of them. And in the first of them, she won gold.

In the hoop, Taisiya received 29,250 points from the judges, which was enough to become the champion of the World Cup stage. She was only 0,050 points ahead of former Russian Vera Tugolukova, who now represents Cyprus.

Then there were three more finals, in which Onofriychuk, unfortunately, could not win again. But she was not left without awards, winning two silver (ball and ribbon exercises) and one bronze (club exercise) medals.

Let us recall that yesterday, April 19, at the same stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, the Ukrainian national team took third place in group exercises.

It was previously reported that Taisiya Onofriychuk received special recognition from the International Gymnastics Federation.
