Ondřej Soukup: China is playing a sort of divide-and-rule game in Europe

As you know, the Communist President of China, Xi Jinping, made a European tour. In your opinion, what is the role of China in the context of this trip of Xi Jinping? A Newsky correspondent asked Ondřej Soukup, a Czech Radio journalist in Prague to comment.
— What do you think Xi's intention is?
China is playing something like divide and conquer in Europe, and of course, it is a huge game.
All trade partners understand that China should not be allowed to penetrate Europe. Solving major global issues is important and complicated, but you could see even during Xi's trip, when, say, in France, he talked about Warren and other global issues.
— Why did he visit Serbia and Hungary?
But it is not surprising that he came at all. After all, Serbia and Hungary are the gateways for the Chinese to economic and political influence in Europe, such as the Czech Republic.
All Chinese or 90% of Chinese investments have gone bankrupt, and now checks do not play a significant role.
In the Chinese way of thinking, Hungary has many very successful Western projects. So, it's critical to them.
It is indispensable for them not to talk to the United Europe, but to have, let's say, more countries that they can influence!
