Germany handed over a new package of military aid to Ukraine

Germany has allocated a new package of military aid to Ukraine, according to a message on the website of the federal government radiosvoboda.org.

According to the agency, the Armed Forces will receive:

  • the Patriot system with spare parts and missiles for it;
  • 2 TRML-4D self-propelled multifunctional radars (9 were already transferred earlier);
  • 9 thousand ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft tanks;
  • ammunition for Leopard 1 tanks;
  • 55 thousand 155 shells of 155 mm caliber;
  • 30 reconnaissance UAVs Vector with spare parts;
  • 200 mobile devices for jamming drones;
  • 10 autonomous sea boats; 4 engineering tanks Wisent 1;
  • Bergepanzer 2 armored recovery vehicle with spare parts;
  • 10 armored vehicles;
  • 2 patrol pickups.

"In addition, SatCom satellite communication terminals, night vision goggles, various types of rifles, machine guns, 40-mm cartridges for them, smoke grenades, explosives and detonators were transferred," the German government said.

Earlier, on June 5, the third Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAMS) from Germany arrived in Ukraine.

On June 20, it became known about Romania's decision to transfer an additional Patriot system to Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said at the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine in Berlin on June 11 that Ukraine needs at least seven Patriot systems to close major urban agglomerations from Russian strikes.
