Germany handed over a new package of military aid - Ukraine received another IRIS-T system

Germany handed Ukraine a new package of military aid, which, among other things, includes the IRIS-T SLM system, he writes radiosvoboda.org.

According to the German government, the new package also includes additional missiles for the IRIS-T SLS missile, the TRML-4D radar system; 4 armored personnel carriers, ammunition for MARS II multiple-launch rocket systems, 8 Vector reconnaissance drones, four GO 12 counter-battery radars, 5 155 mm shells, and more.

Berlin has already handed over three IRIS-T SLM anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.

IRIS-T ground-based air defense systems use modified air-to-air missiles. They exist in two modifications — small (SLS) and medium (SLM) range.
