The Netherlands declared independence from Russian gas

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra, said that his country no longer depends on the import of Russian gas. He told about this in an interview with Ukrinform, he writes epravda.com.ua.

According to the minister, it was Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine that made the Netherlands truly realize its unwanted dependence on Russian pipeline gas. Therefore, measures were taken to diversify import sources.

Now the Netherlands no longer depends on Russian gas.

Hoekstra also emphasized that the Netherlands will support Ukraine as much as necessary, no matter what it costs.
