“China, in a geopolitical sense,” Mark Carney replied during a debate on April 17 when asked to name the biggest threat to Canada’s security.
Carney said Canada must confront threats of external interference from China.
He also criticized China for being Russia's partner in the war with Ukraine, adding that this is a threat to all of Asia and Taiwan in particular.

As a reminder, earlier, the head of the Center for Public Analytics "Vezha", the head of the Charitable Foundation "New Road" Valeriy Klochok noted that the challenges that China poses for the Eurasian continent remain underestimated. In his opinion, Europe is currently flirting with Beijing, while Donald Trump, judging by his actions, has a clear desire to weaken China, although the development of events may make certain adjustments.
Recall that on April 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that China is supplying weapons to Russia for the war against Ukraine. According to him, there is information from the SBU and intelligence "about gunpowder, artillery."
