The Kursk operation buried Putin's hopes for a "new Yalta"

Exclusive. In Russia, they recognized the impossibility of a "new Yalta". Dictator Putin dreamed that the world would again be divided between the Russian Federation, the USA and, possibly, China. However, if he continues to persist, he and his accomplices will not come to the "new Yalta", but, conditionally speaking, to the fate of Marcos.

Dictator Putin's interview with Tucker Carlson

In February 1945, the Allied heads of state gathered in Yalta to decide what the postwar political map of the world would be. As a result, the world was divided into two camps, and Roosevelt was later accused of "surrendering Eastern Europe to Stalin." Henry Kissinger wrote that "Yalta has become a symbol of shame from the point of view of shaping the shape of the post-war world." Until the collapse of the USSR, Eastern Europe remained in the Soviet sphere of influence, and Western Europe and the Mediterranean remained in the Anglo-American sphere.

The speaker of the Soviet Fed, Valentina Matviyenko, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Yalta Conference rolled out in his tg-channel a post about the fact that "... a literal repetition of the Yalta format is excluded today", since "the world has changed radically" and "new centers of political, economic, military power, new international organizations, associations, expressing the aspirations, approaches, interests of dozens of states from the most different regions of the world have appeared."

In the ranks of the "good Russians" there is speculation that "Valka - glass" was asked to make a strong contribution to the campaign to cool down the overheated in Russian society expected on the topic of "new Yalta".

"80 years ago, the post-war order and spheres of influence were forged in Yalta. Today, Putin wants a new "Yalta", new borders and spheres of influence," commented the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrey Sibyga on the 80th anniversary of the Yalta Conference. The Safe Peace Council "must reject the illegitimate demands of the aggressor." "Instead of this ego, it is necessary to force a just peace," he noted.

Putin has long dreamed of a "new Yalta" to reshape the world as he sees fit. However, the "situation on earth" looks to him like in the famous toast about "I want to buy a house, but I don't have the opportunity; I have the opportunity to buy a goat, but... I don't have the desire."

In particular, on February 6, it will be six months since the beginning of the historic operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, which thwarted the plans of the Russian invaders to re-offend Kharkiv and open a new front in the direction of Sumy. Today, the Kurshchyna operation connects a 60-strong group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in this direction. The shortage of manpower even forced Putin to import "cannon fodder" from North Korea, but even this did not help the Russian dictator to achieve any success.

"And you will still see, when we reach the diplomatic settlement of the end of the war, we will hear with you what conditions the Russians will have for Ukraine in the Kursk direction," Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky noted the day before.

"Leave such a trump card as a part of the Kursk region in their hands, it's really impossible. On the contrary, if we claim a certain repetition of "Yalta", then it would be nice to remember that Yalta - 1945 took place when the troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front forced the Oder River southeast of Breslau and the liberation of Budapest was in full swing. That affected the tone of the dialogues. If we can't really liberate even our own territory in Cuba, then our positions in any dialogue with the USA will not be called reinforced concrete," groan the propagandists from their sofas.

"We believe that no new "Yalta" is possible by definition. In what conditions did Yalta take place in 1945, which is considered the peak of Soviet diplomacy's success in World War II? The USSR was at the peak of military power, making the main contribution to the defeat of Germany. Today, the Russian army, with all due respect for the courage of its soldiers and commanders, is still far from being recognized as the strongest army in the world," — for example, пишет Alexander Burenkov, director of the Institute of Russian-Slavic Studies named after N.Ya. Danylevsky. According to Mike Waltz, the adviser to the head of the White House on national security, Trump's team does not go further with the ideas of Russia's ultimatum, so what kind of "Yalta 2.0" is here.

"Good Russians" in unison blame Russian propagandists that the gas project, born in the USSR on February 1, 1970 and called the "deal of the century", collapsed. Next up are possible large-scale sanctions against the Russian oil sector, the transfer of NATO's newest weapons to the "eastern front" and a new round of discussions about the final confiscation of the Kremlin's financial assets. For a long time, Moscow's status as the capital of the entire post-Soviet space rested on its military potential, raw material exports, and the "soft power" of cultural and informational influence in the zone of its political interests. All these positions will be lost by Moscow by the beginning of 2025. The "sovereignty" that the regime protects within the country has taken the form of a dug trench covered with a camouflage net. By using force against Ukraine, Putin achieved the opposite - if the "new Yalta" takes place, it will not be a victory for Russia, but a defeat.

The successes of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk region destroyed the myth of Putin's notorious "red lines", demonstrated Russia's weakness and Ukraine's determination on the battlefield. The Kursk operation may play a significant role in future negotiations to end the war and achieve a just peace.
