Canada imposed sanctions against Matviyenko, Mordashov and Yunarmy
25.02.2023The Canadian authorities have imposed sanctions against 129 individuals, including members of the government, military, representatives of the Military Industry, as well as 63 organizations from Russia. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the country, Justin Trudeau, writes currenttime.tv.

Restrictions, in particular, were introduced against the head of the Soviet Fed, Valentina Matviyenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Tatiana Golikova, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Maksym Oreshkin, wife and son of Dmitry Medvedev, relatives of Sergey Kyriyenko, daughter of Ramzan Kadyrov Tabarik, as well as ministers, deputies of the State Duma, oligarch Alexei Mordashov and members of his family, businessmen God Nysanov and Andrey Melnychenko.
Canada has added some Russian state structures to the sanctions list, including the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, the FSB, the GRU, and the United Russia party.
Among the Russian companies and organizations that have come under Canadian sanctions are Yunarmiya, Rosneftegaz, the concern Uralvagonzavod, ZAO Spetsialnoe Konstruktorskoe Bureau, OOO Obedinennaya Mashinostroitelnaya Gruppa, and others.
Canada also banned the export to Russia of some elements that are used in the electronic industry, and the import of Russian weapons.
