How Russian puppets in Ukraine are trying to disrupt the visit of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Kyiv

Another party of pro-Russian figures in Ukraine sent a letter to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, demanding to cancel his visit to our country, пишет Military and political expert Alexander Kovalenko.

The letter was signed by characters well known to all of us as agents of influence of the Russian special services in Ukraine, namely: academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine Anatoly Peshko; academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Vitaly Zhuravsky; academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Petro Tolochko; musician and producer Oleg Karamazov; Honored Doctor of Ukraine Rostyslav Valikhnovsky; Egor Benkendorf, president of Novosti media holding; TV producer Yury Molchanov and others.

That is to say, it is all the same in the arena, and each of the above-mentioned characters left behind a long trail of anti-Ukrainian activities. Moreover, activities not only in the last, almost 8 years, but also up to 2014 were marked by manifestations of Ukrainophobia, either overt or latent. And the fact that these people are taking part in another attempt to disrupt, or at least spoil the atmosphere of the Ecumenical Patriarch's visit to Ukraine, is not at all surprising.

But still, one figure stands out quite clearly from the general crowd, namely, the so-called academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Petr Tolochko.

The fact is that this "scholar" is known for his hybrid activity in the historical field, namely, distortions of facts in the agreement of the Russian Federation.

In March 2018, "History of Ukraine. VI-XXI century", which was created under the leadership of Peter Petrovich Tolochko and was a collection of manipulations sewn with white threads, and not a hysterical edition.

An important point in this presentation was that the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, Sergey Naryshkin, came to it with the congratulations of Peter Tolochko.

As part of this meeting, Piotr Tolochko and Sergey Naryshkin exchanged gifts. Academician Gore presented the head of the SVR of the Russian Federation with a picture in a frame - with a triune genealogical tree of the Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples, burned according to the requirements of Russian propaganda.

And, perhaps, it was this character of all that became the most vivid indicator of who is really behind the entire current campaign to disrupt the visit
of the Ecumenical Patriarch to Ukraine, which has been going on for more than six months. After all, as you know, mere mortals are not allowed so close to such high-ranking bodies.

Undoubtedly, the failure or discrediting of the visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine today is one of the main tasks of the Russian special services. But as more and more representatives of the agent network come to the surface, it is possible to clearly talk about who they are affiliated with as a whole and who supervises these actions directly.

I hope that this fact will not go unnoticed by the relevant structures in Ukraine.
