Spain will provide Ukraine with another €14,5 million for food security

The Government of Spain will grant Ukraine another €14,5 million to continue the development of the program on global food security. This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo Lopez-Aranda Hagu, Ukrinform reports. agroportal.ua.

"Last September, the head of the Spanish government announced at the UN General Assembly that Spain would provide more than 236 million euros for the implementation of this program. And now Spain will add another 14,5 million euros," the ambassador said.

According to the representative of Spain, Russia's aggression against Ukraine had a great impact on other countries and threatened world food security.

"This program shows how Ukraine extends a hand of friendship to its friends who need help. I am very pleased that Spain was able to join this program," the ambassador said.

He added that Spain will continue to provide military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
