Grants for horticulture will create thousands of seasonal jobs in Ukraine

Entrepreneurs who received government grants for the development of horticulture and berry growing, as well as greenhouses, will hire about 1. permanent workers and are required to create more than 10 new seasonal jobs. Taras Vysotskyi, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, reported this on TV, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, writes agroportal.ua.

He also noted that the system of obtaining a grant is simple and transparent - through the Diya portal. The consideration of the application from the entrepreneur takes place in a short period of time.

"The grant application is considered by the bank and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. If the application meets all the criteria, the entrepreneur will receive a response within two to three weeks. What is important is that the farmer can resubmit a revised application if certain shortcomings of the business plan are revealed after the first review," Taras Vysotsky noted.

It is clarified that the government grant program provides support for small and medium-sized businesses. Among its advantages is the opportunity for everyone who wants to create or develop their own business in the directions "Your business", "Your garden", "Your greenhouse", "New level".

Since the beginning of this year, 24 farms in the agricultural sector have received grant funds for the development of their own business for a total of almost 57,32 million UAH.
