The head of the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia visited Ukraine for the first time and met with the president

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud visited Ukraine for the first time on a working visit. He met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. About this сообщает RBC-Ukraine with a link to the head of the Ukrainian state in Telegram.

"Had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. This is the first official visit of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations. I count on the fact that he will give a new impetus to the further activation of our mutually beneficial dialogue," Zelensky wrote after the negotiations.

At the same time, the President of Ukraine thanked Saudi Arabia for supporting peace in Ukraine, our sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia also held a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kulebo.

"The ministers discussed a number of issues on the bilateral and regional agenda. They agreed to effectively optimize the attraction of small and medium-sized businesses from Ukraine and Saudi Arabia," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It will be recalled that earlier it became known that the government of Saudi Arabia allocated a package of humanitarian aid worth 400 million dollars to Ukraine.
