Holodomor in Ukraine

As you know, the leadership of Ukraine calls on the parliaments of all countries to recognize the Holodomor of the Stalinist regime in 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. Then, according to scientists' calculations, 4 to 10 million Ukrainians died.

On November 8, 2006, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law recognizing the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

His genocidal nature was recognized by the Roman Catholic and Constantinople Orthodox churches.

In March, the House of Representatives of Belgium (the lower house of the federal parliament) and the Parliament of Iceland adopted similar decisions.
