Gas production by Gazprom amounted to 412,6 billion cubic meters. This is almost 20% lower than last year and has been the lowest value since at least 2008.

  • In July, Gazprom began reducing supplies to Europe via the Nord Stream pipeline. In September, his work was stopped.
  • At the end of September, both pipes of "Nord Stream-1" and one of the pipes of "Nord Stream - 2" turned out to be out of order. Incidents are investigated in Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
  • The Swedish police came to the conclusion that the leaks occurred as a result of explosions, but the culprits have not yet been identified. The authorities of the USA, Great Britain and the EU have declared about targeted sabotage. Vladimir Putin blamed the "Anglo-Saxons" for this.
