In dollar terms, the income of Russians is still at the level of a historical minimum, although the government reported that the country's economy has normalized after the pandemic. This was stated by the head of the Analytical Research Department of the Higher School of Finance Management (VSHUF), writes ura.news.

"The dollar income of Russians remains at the level of a historical minimum, despite the fact that the government is talking about the full recovery of the economy after the pandemic. The reason for the drop in salaries, incomes and GDP in dollar terms lies precisely in the situation with the dollar," reports Mikhail Kogan.

In his opinion, dollar revenues can return to their peak values only when all industries fully recover from the pandemic crisis. The analyst calls the growth of ruble incomes of Russians short-term. "This is a one-time injection of the money supply, which will be washed away against the background of other expenses and rising prices. Short-term income growth due to one-time social payments can be safely attributed to statistical errors that will not affect the overall picture," Kogan emphasizes.

Earlier, the State Duma announced a way to increase the income level of Russians. The head of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship, Sergey Zhigarev, said that in order to stabilize and increase the incomes of Russians, it is necessary to create new high-paying jobs in the regions.
