Denmark will send over $250 million in military aid to Ukraine

Denmark has provided Ukraine with a significant package of military equipment before the expected spring counteroffensive of the Armed Forces, reports the German agency DPA. The package is aimed at strengthening Ukraine's ability to carry out an offensive in the coming months, the ministry said in a statement. This is the largest package provided to Ukraine by Denmark since the beginning of the war. Denmark also plans to propose NATO to create a battalion of 700 to 1200 soldiers to protect the Baltic states from mid-2024, Denmark's deputy defense minister said.
