British companies will help restore the infrastructure of Ukraine

British companies are "significantly interested" in the restoration of the infrastructure destroyed by the Russian war in Ukraine, he writes epravda.com.ua.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy following the British-Ukrainian infrastructure summit in London.

As Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka noted, most of the companies that took part in the summit have a lot of experience in restoring infrastructure in other countries or implementing engineering projects — from pontoon crossings to the construction of large infrastructure facilities.

"These companies represent a significant interest in the restoration of infrastructure in Ukraine. And the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and regional administrations, will work to ensure proper coordination of the actions of all participants in this large-scale project," Kachka said.

He noted that a practical assessment of Ukraine's needs is now important for Ukraine, as well as the format of participation of private companies in the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure, the establishment of financial and organizational support for the implementation of such projects from the governments of allies.
