Bulgaria will teach Ukrainian F-16 pilots English

Bulgaria will provide assistance in organizing English language courses for future Ukrainian F-16 pilots. About this reported the RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov.

"The results of the meeting with my colleague from Bulgaria, Todor Tagarev, were noticeable. We signed a memorandum expanding the scope of bilateral cooperation, including cyber defense, strategic communications, and receiving military-technical support," the message reads.

It is noted that the document also lays the foundation for future defense cooperation and military cooperation.

In addition, Bulgaria will provide assistance in organizing English language courses for future Ukrainian F-16 pilots.

"I am grateful for the vital support to Minister Tagarev and the entire Bulgarian people," added Umierov.

Help from Bulgaria

Recently, the Bulgarian parliament voted behind closed doors to supply unserviceable S-300 missiles to Ukraine.

Also, Bulgaria will transfer to Ukraine more than 290 thousand Bulgarian levs (about 150 thousand euros) for humanitarian aid in connection with the difficult situation due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

In July, Bulgaria handed over a package of military aid to Ukraine, which includes 100 armored vehicles, mostly BMP.
