Moscow consciously continues to escalate conflict in Europe with what the Kremlin calls a war against ‘American invasion of Ukraine’. New evidence now on the table —  “First and foremost, the likely enemy of Russia should be clearly identified in this strategic document, something absent from the 2010 military doctrine. In my view, our primary enemy is the U.S. and the North Atlantic bloc,” General Yury Yakubov, a senior Defense Ministry official, was quoted as saying by Interfax.

The general, as rendered in the ‘Moscow Times’ added that special attention should be paid to integrating the functions of the newly created Air and Space Defense Forces with Russia’s land, sea and air based nuclear forces. “In addition, it is necessary to hash out the conditions under which Russia could carry out a preemptive strike with the Russian Strategic Rocket Forces,” he said.

Lashing out at Russia, President Barack Obama on Wednesday cast Moscow’s aggression in Ukraine as a threat to peace in Europe. He vigorously vowed to come to the defense of NATO allies that fear they could be Vladimir Putin’s next target.

“They are Russian combat forces with Russian weapons in Russian tanks,” he said during a speech at a packed concert hall in Tallinn on September 3, from where Obama will travel Wales to paricipate in a NATO summit, at which a decision to make Ukraine a special NATO partner is going to be discussed, while new NATO jets and transports land on airstrips in the Baltics.

The US President has finally acknowledged stark historical parallels between the Putinist and the Hitlerite regimes, long obvious to Russia’s suffering neighborhood.

NATO is anxious to find any solutions, capable of huddling the insane dictator Putin back to his den, while Russian troups slaughter peaceful civilians in Ukraine’s East, courageously defended by national miltary and national guard batallions, appealing to the West for tangible miltary aid and not ‘concerns’.

Experts agree, that this in Washington’s own best national interests to support Ukraine with the NATO umbrella before Russian hordes strike at NATO bases in Romania, Poland and in the Baltic countries, with such plans now being now genuinely confirmed by Gen. Yakubov.
